LET'S ENJOY OUR HERITAGE aims at letting students be the main actors in the environment where they live.

We want them get wittingly involved in the celebration and peculiar aspects promoted by EU CO and also the First European Year of Cultural Heritage (2018).Our Cultural Heritage embodies our past through monuments, sites, traditions, transmitted knowledge and expressions of human creativity, also conserved in museums, libraries and archives.

We aim at raising in the young citizens generation awareness of European history and values and strengthening a sense of European identity. We want to draw attention to the opportunities offered by our cultural heritage, its challenges, such as the impact of the digital shift, environmental and physical pressure on heritage sites. We want to provide students with both knowledge and skills, through emotional teaching and learning. We aim at making tricky subjects become catchy. Main goal of the project is to teach key competences through the wider topic, heritage.

Teachers from our partner schools plan to develop a set of innovative learning units and modules, which can allow

even the less skilled or less motivated students to gain competences, which are at the core of our curricula.

We will trigger students' curiosity in order to make them discover contents by themselves.

Technology use will motivate Digital Natives to approach the theme. Units and modules will expand our students' learning horizons, motivate them and hopefully reduce school dropouts. Also thanks to a set of peer-to-peer activities and workshops, skills learned during the project life will implement the students' soft skills: teamwork, critical observation, problem solving, presentation skills, adaptability, and advanced computer literacy.

Transnational partnership will give the project an added value, as we’ll implement cooperation among the partners,

who will be abler to compare local experiences, and better exchange good practices In the short-term exchanges students will be hosted in families, so they will get the opportunity to travel abroad, meet new people and learn about cultural diversity that will help overcome any racial, religious or gender discrimination, and they’ll train their use of English, Spanish and French. Besides, they will change perspectives, become proud of what we are and give value to what we encounter. In a few words, our cooperation will also enhance a more comprehensive European awareness. Besides being part of an EU Project, with bold expectations for pupils and teachers, will help raise partners

‘profile both locally and internationally
